Helping matters for the simple reason that although none of us are perfect, God has put us here to help other imperfect people. When we help others out of a desire of our hearts (not to get praise) we are being a tool used by God. In a sense we are His hands touching people who need help. People have and do help me every day and therefore I pray that I am able to help others in return.
Do you think helping matters?
“If we did not help, we would not survive” Bentley Martin
I try my best to do it every chance I get, cause I’ve seen how quickly things can go bad when you don’t have any help not just physically but also emotionally and spiritually. Emotionally and spiritually I think are far more important than physically aiding someone. MANY times the best way to help is to just listen
Galatians 6:2“Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”
I think this verse covers it all, if you CAN…DO! Its not just about ourselves. No matter what we do, we WILL effect someone else’s life on a daily basis, and if we could effect someone’s life for the good, maybe just one person a day. What changes would we see in not only the people we help but also ourselves?
So I will leave you with this, what does "helping" mean to you? and how can you help someone in you life today?
